Description: Ravit Reichman runs a soup kitchen in Tel Aviv. At nights she volunteers at a hospital to provide physical affection for abandoned babies. She longs for children of her own but cannot have any following a hysterectomy. Single and 49 years old, she cannot qualify for adoption. She considers foster parenting but is afraid of the consequences to her mental health if birth parents reclaim children she becomes attached to.

Merits: It is impossible to be left unmoved by this tender, honest and beautifully rendered portrait of an amazing woman. One of the best documentaries of the year.

Rating: Suitable for all audiences.
