Jewish Film Presenters’ Network surveys pandemic response

28 May 2020

The Jewish Film Presenters’ Network (JFPN), a networking and advocacy group of Jewish film festivals, has conducted an informal survey of 37 US and three Canadian festivals about their plans in the light of the pandemic and has shared its findings with the JFR. Of the respondents, five are undecided, two have postponed their theatrical festival and the remaining 33 have either confirmed that they either will be running or have contingencies to run an online festival. Of these, a few are considering offline events like a premiere at a drive-in theatre.

Most festivals will move online during the crisis.
